From what I can tell, this is a Single Link DVI-D cable, even though the packaging says it's Dual Link. I connected a Macbook Pro to a 32" Sony Bravia and it just worked. Max resolution was 1080p for TV or 1600x900. The Amazon product description didn't mention single vs dual at all, so it's hard to find fault with that. The cable seems durable and I'd definitely recommend it at this price since it was one of the cheapest I could that was eligible for Amazon Prime shipping.
This is the exact cable that I needed for my tv. I looked at other stores and websites for the same product and came to realize that this is the best for what I paid. Thanks.
This didn't work at all - I thought the problem was the way I was connecting it or maybe even the TV or my computer. I finally threw this in the garbage (not worth returning once you pay for shipping) and got a similar cable (a different brand, of course) which was actually even cheaper than this brand of DVI to HDMI cable - that one worked perfectly and has been working ever since (1 year ago). So, don't get this brand - it's a waste of money - something about the way this company is manufacturing their cables is very flawed.
This isn't DVi-D which provides full 1080p HD but DVI-S which has a lower quality - 1080iBut at least I got it.
I connected it to a Media Center PC and before the computer finished booting up the screen would glitch out. Cable seems to pickup interference. Not properly shielded. It gets bad enough to where the TV blacks out the screen for 5 seconds and then turn back on. This is the first cable that I have ever bought that didn't work.
